Re: [APML] OT: KEF Update Questions



Hi Steve--faint stars didn't work well for me either. When using my C11 I try to
use a 'reasonably' bright star pretty close to the portion of the sky I plan on
shooting. I always worry the focus may shift if I focus a long way away from
where I'm going to be imaging. This hasn't been an issue on my refractor.

The only thing I would add is that as you get close to focus, you may want to
slew the scope slightly to carefully watch that slightly curved line straighten
out perfectly just before the point of "extinction" at focus.
