Perhaps it doesn't bother you because you are using a non text based 
mail client. IMHO this seems a bit shortsighted to me. But you would 
also have to agree that the *absense* of html has no negative affect on 
this either ? :^)

This makes no freaking sense at all. There is no such thing as an HTML 
virus. Period.

Your reply was also "Top Posted" which is considered to be a faux pas as 
well. And you failed to trim unnecessary content too, something which 
Top Posting encourages. This is wasteful of bandwidth *and* storage 
requirements.
