Man, are we in the same boat. I've got a new computer here that I'm
waiting to get online until the 512MB memory chips I ordered get here
(probably Wed). In the meantime I'm trying to get hold of the guy who
hooked up the SS4000 to find out if the card can just be moved from
computer to computer. Or, whether it can go to USB.

I can say with the old setup (SCSI, Windows XP Home) I never had a
problem with the scanner at all.
