In the previous message on this thread, i made an error in calculations: i 
forgot to take into account the reduction of the sky due to the lower QE 
of the KAI. Taking that into account, without the dark current 
contribution, the KAI noise is 38 (instead of 41), and the exposure ratio 
is 3.65X (not 4.02).

Taking dark current into account, the noise is 46.5e (not 48), and the 
exposure ratio is thus 5.4X (and not 5.76X).

This error didn't change the conclusion in any way.
