Yes.

My camera has a class 2 chip, which is standard for the ST-10. The ST-7 and ST-7i come with a Class 1 chip standard; the newer Class 2 chips no longer have column defects so as long as you take enough dark frames you should be able to get good results. If you're thinking of seriously pursuing CCD imaging, I'd also recommend a goto mount and an automated focuser. I have a Gemini for my G-11 and a Robofocus for both my Vixen 102-ED and my C-9.25.
