Perhaps you misunderstood. I'm aware that John is exactly where he wants to
be. He's done film for a long time and wanted something new. And yes his Ha
CCD images are fantastic.
The regrets I mentioned in my first post are the regrets of those like me
who loved his color film images. He was a leader in the field and I miss
seeing more of his great work. The resolution of his CCD work is awe
inspiring, but to me they don't have the beauty of his color work. But
that's only my opinion so take it for what it's worth.
