Gentlemen, the bar has been raised! Bobby, that is an amazing image! No
seams, no joins - just wall to wall nebulosity. What I find most impressive
is the fact that all your diffraction spikes are aligned the same direction.
I NEVER get this to happen with my stacks.....

I've been processing on this for a while; actually for weeks off-and-on.
It's a 5 frame mosaic with the Tak BRC on E200 film (no TP for this image).
Inset for the M42 region is the 12.5'' newt mosaic of the area. It's here:

Lots of gradients and lots of brightness/color matching issues on all these
separate frames.
Let me hear from you regarding color and other issues.
