Your description is very helpful for me, thank you very much for the setup and alignement 
explainations - your polar scope setup seems to be efficient and accurate and furthermore (important to mention in astrophotography, 'cause usually not the case) inexpensive :-)

As soon as I have found a riflescope that will fit the needs, I'll start assembling 
my unit - if interested I could post my results.
