Is this adjustment done on the scanner software? And
what is an index scan?

You have the advantage here, my scanner is in a
different location. Will that make a difference as to
how the scans are saved?

This just gets more and more confusing, doesn't it?

I believe the half hour reference was to total time
spent. I think the procedure is to make many small
adjustments as opposed to one.
