When the Beatles sung "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" I got the notion that they had something other than carbonaceous aerosols from China coming into the west coast of the United States and messing up astronomical transparency.
 
But that impression might be canted off. Perhaps the kids from the midlands knew something after all.

Kudos, Glenn! "It's a small world after all... it's a small world after all..."  I'll bet Disneyland didn't have that in mind when they put that song in their display... but it sure is true.
