I've been checking out Ron's book but feel there is
still plenty for me to learn about more basic things.

Our local club (Southern Oregon Skywatchers in Medford
Or) will pay a $50 or $60 stipend to visiting
speakers. Now, I know that's tempting, but please try
to remain calm. Barring that, maybe you can make the
Oregon Star Party some year.
