RE: [APML] Stacking
George, good luck stacking and getting 10 images in register with film. In
my experience with at least the schmidt camera, after about four negs, the
resolution actually decreased for me, because of registration problems.
That of course was before registar, which also warps the images. I would
recomend caution here. My 2 cents worth.

Subject: [APML] Stacking
A potentially dumb question...
Would stacking a string of say ten shots taken with a high grain film
(ISO 800+) help reduce the graininess of the final image?
I have searched the Kodak website to try and find the "typical" grain
size for different films with no luck. I was looking to see what film
had a grain structure that was similar to the size of the pixels in the
ST-7. I realize that an exact comparison is not possible due to the
natural randomness of grain shape and distribution versus the rather
precise size and location of the sensors on a ccd.
