Re: [APML] Eta Carinae
To the naked eye the Eta Carinae Nebula is not as bright as M42, but it is
much larger, at two degrees in size. The most striking aspect of a naked-eye
view of it is that its petal-like structure is plainly visible. Its size is
all the more impressive considering that it is 10,000 light-years away, six
times farther than M42.
