Chris,

	Yes, Eta Carinae is significantly larger than M42. I was surprised when
I saw it on the 6x9 neg. There is almost no space for mis-framing the
object. For M42, you can be quite misaligned and you will still be able
to crop a useable image. For Eta Carinae, you had better be aligned
exactly since in almost fills the entire frame using a 6" f/7 scope. It
is huge.
