Jeff, I use Maxim some times to realign the color planes in an image, and LAUM.  I do my own developing, with a schmidt camera, its about the only way.

That is an excellent image. Congratulations!  I see where you listed MaximDL as a software for processing.  What features are useful for film with MaximDL?  I have no experience with this software.  BTW, do you develop your own slides?  You must have a very fast lab if you don't.  I can't get same day turnaround on my slides here in the sticks of West "by God" Virginia.  Thanks.

Hi All,
 
This morning was a spectacular event with the comet, the head passed right over the emmission nebula NGC7380.  Using my 5.5 inch schmidt camera, I was able to get several rewarding images. I really like the E200 pushed 1 stop for comets, It really brings the contrast of the tail up.  Heres my new image:
