[APML] Epson 785EPX, 820 & C60

Hey all,

When I asked for updated feedback on the 785EPX 4 or 5
days ago, someone asked about Epson's 820. The 820 has
a $50 mail in rebate which brings the price down to
$100. That's also the selling price for the C60, no
rebate. Both of these are half the price of the 785EPX
($200). Which, by the way, is the printer I intended
to buy when I walked into Staples earlier this
evening.

The salesman had also been interested in these models,
and was able to answer some questions for me. Here's
the jist of what he told me: all 3 printers have the
same specs. The 785 will take memory cards from
digital cameras and print directly from that. The c60
has separate color inks that can be replaced
individually, instead of having to replace the entire
color cartridge when one runs out. The 820 does not
have the single replacement option.

That's about it. I would have gotten the C60, but it
wasn't in stock. I took home the 820 and saved a
hundred bucks.

Hope someone finds this useful,
Alan
