Re: [APML] Mission Statement Change?



A 100+ emails!!  I knew it was either film vs. CCD or
our old friend (you know who). :-)

Anyway, I am in favor of a separate list.

That way, the original list maintains it primary focus
and the people who have an interest in discussing
collaborative or crossover images and techniques don't
feel like their desire to expand and explore is being
restricted.

We spend waaay too much time discussing and arguing over
this film vs. CCD issue, and it seems to me that the
main reason why we get into these lengthy discussions is
that there is a need that is not being met (either here
or on the CCD lists).  And since a growing number of
APML-ers are expressing this need, maybe it is time for
us to consider starting a new list, as opposed to asking
people to look elsewhere for their needs.
