[APML] What direction now? (was NGC 3628)

Boy that's a great image Josef, but you know this is very fast becoming a
"look at my CCD image" list. I never have been against discussion of CCD
especially in regards to the cross-over techniques used with film and how
they relate/compare on the APML list . CCD is a great imaging medium and we
all agree that it is probably the better method for many types of targets.
But I see no film relevance in many of these "Look at this CCD image" posts.

We've re-vamped the list direction to allow CCD discussion "AS IT RELATES TO
FILM IMAGING" if my understanding is correct. Is that what the rest of the
list understands? This is a FILM list, but that doesn't mean there's no room
for CCD discussion. But I don't think the focus of this list should shift to
purely CCD topics. There are many other lists for that. As far as I know,
this is the only film astro-imaging list there is. I do feel that a fair
amount of the focus of this list; no, ALL the focus of this list should be
on film. That focus can include CCD discussion when relavent. When it's not,
then I think it's not appropriate. That's my opinion. It would be nice to
hear others as long as things remain civil.
