Re: [APML] TIPS FOR FIRST "AWAY" PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION
Hey Eddie,
I've found that a variety of exposure times will give
lots of information on the subject AND the film. I try
to shoot anywhere from 5 minutes to 2+ hours on every
roll. This tells me how the film is reacting to a wide
span of exposure times. I also shoot at f/10, if
you're shooting at f/4 your time limit will be quite a
bit less. Don't be afraid to take longer exposures
though, you'll find out what your local conditions
will permit. Make sure to keep accurate notes for
every frame.
I usually go ahead and try to get several nights worth
of shots before I pull the film. The roll I just
pulled was started in early March. However, if I've
done some tuning on equipment, I will want to see
results sooner.
