         Bingo!  it is Kazza.  It has installed "spyware" that runs in the 
background of your computer.  Webhancer is one of ht eones I got nailed 
with.  Not only does it slwo down your machine, it rns constantly, even if 
Zone alarm is blockign access to the net, and Spyware is known to have 
conflicts with many net applications.

         Spyware is very common.  Kazza is a known carrier & installer of 
spyware, but ir ecently bought my children a copy of a commercial, store 
bought, educational game, and i found it installed spyware on my machine.

         I foudn spyware installed on my machine interferred with my Norton 
as well, as well as my web broswers.  be very careful removign 
spyware.  Fro example, if you just delete webhancer off your hard drive, it 
prevents you form connecting to the net.  use ad-aware to remove it.

         Good luck, I woudl suggest everyone here run ad-aware.  it is a 
real eye opener.
