[APML] Pleiades testshot with TP and Tak BRC

Hi,

Thought you might like to see a testshot taken with the Tak BRC 10" f/5
scope and hypered Tech Pan. This is a shot of the Pleiades star cluster.
The image is a stack of two negatives and the camera is the Mitsuboshi
6x9 with vacuum pump. I did not use nitrogen and had some problems with
uneven processing. Lesson learned, always use nitrogen with medium
format hypered TP. I am not sure if you can notice it here but it is
noticeable on the negative. Processing was done with HC110 dil B to
attempt to increase dynamic range from my usual D19. It's pretty clear
that even more dynamic range would be nice so maybe I will try D76 next
time. The Tech Pan halation of the brighter stars is also very
noticeable. Not a very good image but it shows what might be possible
with this scope. I think I measured the smaller star diameters to be in
the 35um range. Might have to repeat this measurement though.
