Hi Robert,

As a new Schmidt Camera owner (or as soon as it arrives at any rate) I am also
concerned with this. As popular as this is I can't imagine that there isn't a
need here that can be filled. Kent indicated to me at one time that you might be
able to get in touch with the Epoch gentlemen and perhaps we/you/I or whoever,
can obtain the tooling and jigs and/or what ever to facilitate getting these
serviced ?????? Since I have yet to lay my hands on one I don't know how
involved this would be but it must be possible to get them aligned since they
did it originally. It pains me that such an instrument with gargantuan "cool
factor" are next to impossible to obtain and service. The major pieces are still
there .... Celestron still makes the correctors and Mirrors, so Tubes, invar
supports and film holders and voila ! <g> I realise I am showing my naivete here
but ....... These are very popular and I think they would still be if available.

Best Regards

Bill
