Yes, it will dramatically enhance the view of a nebula with a lot of OIII 
emission in it.

The Lumicon UHC filter is a very good, general purpose filter that I would 
recommend for visual work.


The narrower the bandpass of the filter, more aperture of the scope will be 
appreciated. OIII filters can be spectacular on large dobs.
