Re: [APML] finding the Comet

Hi Frank:
Probably the easiest source for the information is at
http://skyandtelescope.com/observing/objects/comets/article_477_1.asp
This has a table of current coordinates that you can plug into the DEC and RA on your LX keypad. If you have TheSky hooked up to your LX, you can also get the ephemerides for all the current visible comets and then display them in TheSky using the automatic download facility in TheSky. Hope this helps....

Subject: [APML] finding the Comet

Forgive me for sounding so stupid, but is there a site somewhere that will tell exactly where the comet is (sky coordinates) for each day?  I live in an area where  I'm not sure if it's already below my level of view by the time it's dark, or if I'm just missing it.  There are some trees to my north-west, so it could possibly be blocked by the trees.  I'd like to verify the coordinates with my LX200, that should be easy enough.

TIA,
Frank
