[APML] Fw: images from science
I submitted my composite image of the 2001 total solar eclipse to the
Rochester Institute of Technology for their upcoming exhibit this fall (see
<http://www.rit.edu/~photo/iis.html> for a description), and received the
response below. Being the first time one of my images has been selected for
publication, I was wondering if there are any other issues to consider
before giving final approval. They sent me a 60 KB PDF permission file to
sign which states:
"The photographer will maintain all copyright control over his/her work, and
that the Rochester Institute of Technology and Cary Graphic Arts Press [the
publisher] will act solely as publishers of the photographer's work on a
one-time basis. All further requests to republish will be directed to the
photographers/copyright holders."
