Re: [APML] now what?

Tony,
My turn- nice image!
Have you ever measured your seeing conditions
with your STV up there on your private mountain?
I'll bet it can get pretty good. Now, if you got something around
3 arc seconds on this one, it won't be long until you do much better.
Personally, I'd be satisfied with that one for a long time, and
if this is your second week at this, I'll look forward to week 102<g>

You're guiding with the STV? Is it off axis with that little Lumicon
Job? Have you bothered with the self guiding chip?

Hi once again,    Last night I noticed that the graph on the STV was much smaller than previously... I was shooting 6 - 20 minute shots of M51... the seeing got better and better as a marine layer invaded the Sacramento valley. When I processed the image from this latest series, I became speechless... there are at least 50 small galaxies all around M-51, and the detail in the galaxy looked like something out of a "pro" scope, not some little 14.5" Cassegrain holed up in someone's back yard. I don't know what else to say, you guys take a look at it...     http://www.astrophoto.com/M51CCDBW.htm     Have a good one,          Tony
