The M51 pretty much invalidates me and everything I've tried to do in
astrophotography. : (

No... that's my
less-than-perfect seeing at work... I can watch the guide star on the STV do a
little dance every now and then... I do have nights when everything is like
down in FLA, but not right now... still too much weather up there. Next month
we are between seasons and there are nights when the air is just dead...
that's when we might be able to tighten things up a bit. Actually, 3 arc
seconds over 120 minutes of exposure at 3000mm of focal length... I'll take
it! Thanks for the analysis.
