[APML] Beautiful pictures

Hi folks,
I'm a all-around-newbie here. New to astronomy, new to my scope, new to
astrophotography, and new to this mailing list. I've looked at some of the
pictures linked to some of the recent mailings and they are absolutely
BEAUTIFUL. I hope to someday take some shots that at least somewhat
resemble the ones I've seen. I'm sure I'll be asking some questions you've
seen thousands of times and probably seems simple, but I guess everyone
starts the learning curve sometime or another. I've ordered the
"Astrophotography for Amateur" book and plan to start up the curve. I do
know the scope I have (LX-50) may not be the best for this, but I'll give
it a shot anyhow. I have taken a few shots of the moon for starters (I
know, maybe simple but I gotta crawl first).

Thanks for stoking the fire inside to learn this "stuff". Again, your
photos are absolutely beautiful.

Bert Duhe
