If your short tube 80 is like mine was (I sold it) the cap has a hole in the 
middle with an another cap on it.
If that is true I will send you a small piece of mylar solar filter that I 
have left over from my C8 filter.  You just tape it over the hole on the 
inside of the cap, it works great.
