Re: [APML] Astrophoto Books

It's not a book on astrophotography, but is a wonderful book of
astrophotography that should be in every astrophotographer's collection.

"Exploring the Southern Sky" A pictorial atlas from the European Southern
Observatory 9ESO) Laustsen, Madsen, West

And while we are on the topic, here is a recent image from last week:
http://www.celestialimage.com/page7.html.
Some kind of local galaxy with a lot of hydrogen pollution. Large object.

AP 4" f/6 EDF
2 x 40 minutes
Unhypered PPF 400
Kodak CD scan. Blending in Picture Window, enhancement in PhotoShop.

You guys can keep southern Arizona. My star parties are a little further
south from now on. (VBG)

Cheers,
