[APML] st-4 relay replacement
I got the relays from SBIG finally and have the st-4 CPU apart. Removal of
the old relays was easy......snap right out. One thing I forgot to check and
I need someone in the group to look at this for me please. Dumb me forgot to
check which way the relays are plugged in; there are 2 possible ways. I
pulled them out before I even realized I needed to check which way they plug
in. (That's what I get for trying to play with astronomy while I really need
to be working on other stuff <g>. ) SBIG is not answering calls until Monday
as they are moving to a new location. The relays can go in two different
ways; there is a green strip on the relays on one end I presume to help
someone who is paying attention <g> which way they plug in. Does the
green-stripped end go close to the outside of the CPU box or are they turned
the other way and closer to the center of the CPU box?
Chuck Vaughn has a picture of the innards of the st-4 here:

His removed relay recepticals are at the bottom right and he has them
labeled "R". Will the green strip on one end of the relays go toward the
bottom of his image or toward the top?
SBIG charged $7 for each relay; there are 5 if you replace the alarm relay
too. If this fixes my problem I will consider the fix cheap.
Thanks for any help.
