Hello Tony-
I have had good success with the Lumicon 2.5X telecompressor with the
GEG on my
12" LX-200 in the same configuration you are using from the similarly
crummy skies
of Northeast Ohio.Also got many E's until the telecompressor was added.
Now I also use
CCDTRACK just because I like to see what is happening during guiding.I
can get good tracking with even slightly out of focus guide stars,ones
that look like noses, and the ST-4 hangs onto them like a bulldog.Hope
