[APML] Periodic error pictures

Jason:

I posted a message a while back concerning where I had roughly polar aligned my
scope (LX-10) and opened the shutter to check how smooth my drives were. When I
rcv'd the pictures back I was a little concerned (I'm a newbie at this so I have
the play with everything to get to know more) about how wavy and jagged the star
trails were. I assumed it was due to periodic error but wasn't sure. I visited
your web page today and saw your many nice pictures. I also saw your pictures
concerning PE and PEC. They are almost identical (the PE pictures) to mine,
although mine are a little rougher... difference in LX-10 and LX-200 hardware,
I'm sure.

Thanks,

rG
